Stainless Steel Channels & Angles

Stainless Steel Channels

  • The 304 material can operate under temperatures up to 870 degrees Celsius, the channels have 205MPa minimum yield strength and 515MPa minimum tensile strength.
  • The SS 316 C Channel is C shaped and it is the second most material used for stainless steel products.
  • The 316 channels can be used in sea water and high chloride ion rich environment.
  • The 316 Stainless Steel C-channel also has molybdenum in the composition and can be used for food grade applications as well.
  • The material grades, the dimensions and the strength vary depending on the applications. We supply different 304 Stainless Steel Channel Dimensions and types.
  • Please contact us for further information on the products and their prices along with the different sizes such as the Stainless Steel U Channel Sizes.

Stainless Steel Channels & Angles

Stainless Steel Angles

  • The equal angle has both sides of the L in equal lengths. There are unequal angles where one side of angle is wider than the other side.
  • The 316 Stainless Steel Equal Angle is second most used next to the 304 angles. The 304 angles cannot be used in brackish and seawater applications due to the chloride ion corrosion.
  • The 316 material can resist the chloride ion stress corrosion because of the 4% molybdenum in the content.
  • There are different Stainless Steel 304 Unequal Angle Sizes depending on the application requirements.
  • The angles are used to connect components together with a grip. There are angles with bolt holes for bolts or screws as well.
  • The 316 Stainless Steel Unequal Angle is used in more corrosive applications than the 304 angles could be used. The Stainless Steel Unequal Angle is as common as the equal angle.
  • They are use in brackets, trim, reinforcements and in other applications as well.
